Explorer Soul

Explorer Soul is a personal project that we started right after the 2020 pandemic lockdown. By telling the story of 3 different people with sport as the common thread, we were filming for 365 days through all the seasons in the mountainous region of La Cerdanya, Spain. A documentary film to give value to the amazing places close to where we live and that go unnoticed in our daily lives, overshadowed by routine, and which shined again due to all the restrictions on international travel when everyone set out to rediscover local gems.

Mountains have a unique meaning for each person. For Suzie they are her home, for Alberto they are his work place and for Xavi they are the place where disconnect from the routine. La Cerdanya is the place where these three stories merge and where our three main characters meet to live a complete adventure around this region. They will be our guides on an extensive journey through La Cerdanya and through their histories we will get to know the most spectacular places in the area. A strategic enclave for practicing all kinds of sports 365 days a year. From the most extreme night mountain skiing to road cycling through the most remote valleys without forgetting to climb some of the most emblematic walls in the area. They are true explorers and our trip will be full of guaranteed adventures.
